We got to shoot a wedding in Venice! Well, Venice, Florida at least.
It was still pretty stinkin’ awesome though. Apart from the usual Florida heat and on and off rain, it was a great day! Erin and Jared’s entire wedding, including getting ready, first look, ceremony, and reception was held at the Venetian Golf and River Club, which is located in North Venice, Florida. Erin arrived at the club at around 11:30 am and we quickly got to work photographing her getting. Jared showed up around 12:30 and spent about an hour in the men’s locker room with his groomsmen getting ready for his first look with Erin.
Although it rained off and on for most of the day, Erin and Jared were great sports, and the cloud cover gave us some great natural soft light for bridal portraits. The grounds at Venetian Golf and River Club provides some scenic areas for portraits.
The staff at Venetian Golf and River club were very courteous and attentive. When the rain came in just 15 minutes before Erin and Jared’s ceremony, the staff was able to quickly move the ceremony indoors.
